What to Expect

​Outline:
The outline for the training is very flexible and can be tailored to your needs. 
My starting point is the following
  • I will start off with basic task management principles. This will help us to have a share vocabulary for the rest of the day. 
  • We will then go through the basic terminology of Asana and discuss the needs and frustrations with the current use of the platform. 
  • Then we can talk through some project management frameworks (such as Waterfall method and Agile / Scrum Method) we can use to build out the use of Asana. This depends on the feedback from the previous point.
  • We will then do a comprehensive walkthrough of Asana so that we understand how the tool could be used. I'll use practical examples to make it more relevant to certain use cases.
  • We can then plan some specific use cases for you to use and I'll go through the steps to do the setup and management of the use cases.
  • We can end with time for general Q&A, but I also think having the training very interactive you mean that this last part would be only for questions we parked or did not answer previously.
Length of training:
I can design the training inside of your time constraints, so if you have a preferred time to begin or end, we can adjust this in the program. 
Most clients plan the training for 1-2 hours per day for a few consecutive days. This gives the attendees some time just to get some other urgent work done before the day is over or to start organizing their Asana directly. 

I'll also be available in this time after the group training to help with one-on-one questions and consulting if needed.
